COVID-19: BABATUNDE HUNPE(MHR) EMBARKS ON 5000 EMERGENCY FOOD RESPONSE TO RESIDENTS OF BADAGRY FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

As part of efforts of the Hon.Member Representing Badagry Federal constituency, Babatunde Hunpe to control the spread of COVID-19 in Badagry Federation is set to donate some food items to residents across the three Local councils of Badagry in line with the Lagos state Government movement restriction policy.

We are set to donate food, medical nutrition products and Hand sanitizers to bring relief to residents to sustain the 14days curfew to curb the pandemic in the state and Nigeria at large, As Grassroot Representatives we care deeply for our people and for the communities in which we Represent, and we have an essential role to play during the COVID-19 crisis. Food and beverages will help keep people healthy and enhance their quality of life during the stay at Home.

We care about our responsibility to provide good democratic dividends, especially for the most vulnerable in my jurisdiction – children, the elderly and those struggling with illness.

Since we have to act with urgency to stem the virus through social distancing and lock downs. At the same time, we knew that the food industry are essential to the fight against the pandemic and desperately need to be protected and supported. Indeed, without nutritious food, the sick cannot recover, and the healthy will eventually become unwell...I know my Responsibilities.

Hence, We would like to assure our constituents that we will continue to intervane till this covid outbreak will be conquered.
