Humanitarian NGO: Akoka LEO Donates 500 Books to Students, Motivates Them to Work Harder.

With passion to make lucid contribution to the Education Sector, a non-governmental organisation, Akoka Leo Club led by Leo Popoola Samuel Oludare, has donated five hundred books for its 2019/2020 Lions service year.

The group which demonstrated its humanitarian love by carrying out its educational project at Akoka Junior High School, Lagos, urged the students to make good use of the books.

Speaking at the assembly, The president of the club, Leo Popoola Samuel, admonised the students on the need to see their academics as an opportunity to become great in life.

He noted that the educational project is in line with the Leo District theme for the service year titled; “Empower through service” which focused on the well-being of the children in the society.

While intimating the students and teachers about the activities and the importance of the club, Leo Popoola Samuel charged the students not to derail from their main purpose as a student, urging them to be hardworking, character wise, always paying attention to their teachers and most importantly, allowing God be their light in all spheres.

The School Principal, Mrs. Meroyi K.A who was ably represented by the Vice-Principal Academics thanked the Leos of Lions Club International for remembering the school students and the management, and further prayed for continuous success of the club in its sincere service to humanity.
