HON. ALABI INSPECTS ONGOING SCHOOL PROJECT, ASSURES ON COMPLETION.


The Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Hon Kolade Alabi yesterday inspected the ongoing project at Baptist Junior High School , Obanikoro, he made the visitation alongside the SA works, Hon Foluso Adebomojo, the council manager, Mr Olufemi Ogundeko, and the council Treasurer, Hon Samuel Apata. .

The school officials were happy to receive him , especially as they were having their end of the year party when he arrived.

The council boss after inspecting the block of classrooms, said he was satisfied with the job done so far , and promised the school officials that the project will be delivered this year.

The principal on her part says Hon Alabi is a man of his words, because he fulfilled all what he discussed with her , she appreciated him and also announced that Yellow house has been adopted as Kolade Alabi House.

On behalf of the entire students of the school , he was even given an appreciation plaque for all he has done to raise
 the school profile.

The Chairman, in his humble self , appreciated the school for the appreciation, but reiterate his believe that more need to be done before he is appreciated.

However, in his usual character, he  looked around and sighted another dilapidated building and  toilet that is not good for human use, and immediately promised that  new building will be erected and new set of toilets will be build .

"I will leave here with a gift to this school, just like we promised SLG primary school,  we will demolish that dilapidated building and build another one, then we will move to the toilet facilities, and rebrand it to a modern one"*

Continuing, the council boss said  he intends to deliver the project this year, so that students can resume with new classrooms and furniture.

" I am a product of public school, the level of decadence in our public school is sickening, i have gone round and see the level, the governor also discovered this decay, and immediately set up a committee, to make sure all public schools receives infrastructure. The committee will be visiting all public schools in conjunction with  council chairmen, the council want to compliment what has been done in the state on our own little way, we will make sure all public schools in Bariga receives the upliftment with good furniture "
