 BARIGA LCDA APC CAMPAIGN TEAM MEETS WITH TRADITIONAL CHIEFS, NURTW AND SPARE PART SELLERS .

--As the team visited Farayibi that was flooded with early year rain last week.

Sequel to the successful flagging-off of campaign for the 2019 election by the Bariga LCDA APC,  a proper campaign commenced today with the visit to traditional chiefs, NURTW and spare part sellers.

The campaign team led by the chairman of Bariga LCDA , Hon Kolade Alabi started the business of the day by visiting the traditional chiefs in Bariga , the ten chiefs across Bariga were present at the meeting held at the palace of Baale Obanikoro, Chief Kabiru Ibrahim. The candidates of the party for the House of representatives and House of Assembly , Hon Ademorin Kuye and Hon Rotimi Abiru were also in attendance to sought the blessing of the royal fathers.

Hon Alabi informed the chiefs that plan is underway to build a befitting multi purpose  town hall in Bariga, and also vowed to restore the lost glories of the royal fathers by involving them on matters that concern the residents of Bariga. He also tasked them  to be democratic in their governance and promote qualitative leadership at grassroots to enhance peaceful coexistence in their domains.

 Hon Rotimi Abiru on his part , While emphasising on the need for every government to accord importance to traditional institution, Abiru noted that he  would continue to enhance the welfare of the traditional chiefs in Bariga, and also appealed to them for support .  His compatriot , the candidate of the party for the House of Representatives, Hon Ademorin Kuye also thanked the royal fathers for giving them the opportunity to sought their support, and was happy that that they've proved to be a reliable partner in progress in the past, and believe they will continue in that line, he also urged them to mobilize as much as two thousand people each form their domain.

The royal fathers appreciated the APC team for deeming it fit to recognise them as partner in progress and for been the first people to visit after the flagging off , they assured them of support and also pray for the party's victory.

In a similar development, the team also take their campaign to new garage , where they met the NURTW members , meat sellers, and market women, and they all promised to support the party in the upcoming election.

We all recalled that an incident of flood was reported in Farayibi street and environ last week, when an early year rain fell and the canals that were full of refuses disturbs the free flow of flood. The chairman immediately directed the environmental team to desilt the canals. So in checking the progress of work done, and as compassionate leaders, the team briefly Visited the area and commiserate with the people and gave them the assurance that they will be secured and will not be sacked by flood.

The campaign team came to a halt at spare part market in Idi Aba , the dealers mostly of Igbo origin also promised to support APC , as they asked the party to forget the past and look forward to the future because they've realised the mistakes they made in the past.

The other members of the team were the vice chairman, Hon Adeola Kuponiyi, Hon Bukola Adedeji, Hon Tope Okanlawon and other councillors, supervisors, SAs, Hon John Oshijo, Hon Babatunde Adesida, Hon Tolu Ebun, Hon Tunde Solaja, Alhaji Asimiyu, Alh Lufat, Alhaji Kazeem ( former vice chairman), party leaders, youth , women, and other members of the party.

The campaign will continue tomorrow with a visit to CAN/ UCC at Danmole street, meeting of artisans st council hall and also the mechanics in Ajidagan primary school.
