 BARIGA APC TAKES CAMPAIGN TO ARTISAN /TRADESMEN, CAN/UCC AND AUTOMOBILE MECHANICS

The campaign train of Bariga LCDA APC team set up to solicit for support and canvass for vote ahead of the 2019 election , today, met with the members of Artisans , Christian Association of Nigeria and Auto mechanics.

The highly successful interactive session was led by the Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Hon Kolade Alabi , and he was joined by the party's candidates and other party leaders , as they continue the drive to win the general election for APC.

The team met with the CAN leadership at the Christ Anglican Church, Okuta Road in Bariga, they were received by Reverend  Clement Dada and other men of God.

Speaking at the meeting, Hon Alabi said the plan of his administration amongst other things is to partner with the church for community development, and he added that this can be done if the church can provide the council with the total number of churches in Bariga, and same is expected of the Muslims too, so that the planning will be easy. He also informed them of the plan to regenerate Bariga , and he want them to be a partner in progress.

Alabi also introduced Abiru and Kuye to the congregation, and assured them that they are the best team that will benefit Bariga.

 Hon Abiru in his own word said CAN have always been a partner in progress of the party, and he expect that to continue beyond the 2019 election. In his words , Abiru said  " We want to improve our relationship with you, because for us we are now partners, And we are working to build a better relationship with you.
We have come to plead for your support , even though you have been supporting us before"

His counterpart, Hon Kuye said he was glad for the support coming from CAN.

In a similar development, a meeting was also organised with artisans, the over 170 members was led to the council hall by the group's Chairman, Comrade Olusegun Sakiru Kolawole. The meeting was an interactive one, as the chairman, Hon Kolade Alabi engaged the members, by asking them of what can be done to improve their lots, they reacted by demanding for various assistance, in which the chairman promised to fulfill them.

Speaking during the interactive session which was also part of the meeting, Hon Alabi  said the government  would assist the artisans and tradesmen to overcome the problem of access to loans by guaranteeing them of financial gift  and ensuring that it cut across to encourage the sustenance of their  businesses.
 He added that education is not an end in itself but that every educated person also required skills to be able to impart knowledge, adding that the APC recognizes the role of the artisans and tradesmen in the development of any society.

 Hon Abiru also said he will get involved with the artisans more than ever before , as Hon Kuye promised to always be the tripod leg of Alabi and Abiru to lend support whenever they require it, especially on the area of financial assistant.

The Chairman  of the Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans in Bariga , Com Kolawole , given the votes of thanks had commended the Alabi's administration for its efforts at making life better for artisans and tradesmen in Bariga .
He also expressed gratitude to the government  for creating an enabling environment for them to thrive on,  adding that the artisans and tradesmen would massively support the candidates of the APC at the next general elections.

The Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association, and Mechanic Association of Nigeria were also paid a visit by the campaign team, the leadership of the associations were happy that the APC found them worthy , and they also reiterate their claim to support APC as they've always done, especially as Alabi and Abiru has done a lot for them as a group, and they promised to pay them back with massive votes.

The council boss also led the the teeming party supporters to see the progress if job been done in Adetoke, Ewenla,  Emmanuel and Community street.

The party leaders, members, excos, legislators and appointees were also not left out ,  Hon Tope Okanlawon,  Hon Bukola Adedeji, Hon John Oshijo, Prince Babatunde Adesida, Hon Mejolagbe, Alhaja Raji, Hon Hakeem Oriola were some of the people that witnessed the meetings.

The campaign team will be at Hamadia Central Mosque, No 1, Adaranijo street, Moshslashi bus stop by 10.00 am to meet with the Muslim community, while that will be immediately followed by that of  WASHCOM at Bariga L.C.D.A council Hall at  12.noon.
