The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, had congratulated Okesuna Youths Forum and the Okesuna Community Development Committee for their creative responsibilities.

The Executive Chairman said the Okesuna Youth Forum and CDC are pace setter of development and coexistence in Somolu. "Okesuna Youths Forum and the CDC of Okesuna has always been a typical associations for their discipline on environment and youths engagement", Dullar said.

More so, the Executive Chairman congratulate the Chairman of Okesuna Community Development Committee, Chief Dapo Oduguwa, who is also the Chairman of Somolu Community Development Association, and residents of Okesuna, for his leadership and fatherly role to ensure the security and environment of Okesuna remains their priority.

Dullar lauds the Spelling Bee competition organized by the Okesuna Youths Forum which started last year. "The Spelling Bee competition is a great educational programme that strengthen peaceful coexistence of residents in Okesuna, Orile Bashua and Somolu at large", the Chairman stated.

The multiple award winning Local Government Chairman and one of the frontier Directors of the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Independent Campaign Group (BOS ICG),  assured the youths behind the Spelling Bee Competition of the support of the Local Government to make them do more. He urged the President of the Okesuna Youths Forum, Comrade Afeez Raheem, to never get tired of more creative ideas to bring out the best of the community.

However, the Executive Chairman promise the residents of Okesuna that their street light will be fixed soonest to further have a secured community. "Okesuna will soon have a functional street light that will stand the test of time to serve the community", Dullar promised.
