Hon. Salawu Okay Revamp of Primary Schools In Somolu (Photos)

SOMOLU LG CHAIRMAN, DULLAR, SETS TO REVAMP SCHOOLS

The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, has embarked on plans to give face-lift to government-owned primary schools in the Local Government Area.


The 18 primary schools received desks and chairs few weeks ago from the Local Government boss, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, as part of his educational support programs.



Agunbiade Primary School, founded in October 1, 1976, will be the first school to benefit from the rehabilitation process to fix the dilapidated buildings of over 40 years.

During the inspection to the school, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu said :  "The investment in education is the best and we must put in our best to secure the future of our community".

The Special Adviser on Education to the Chairman, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, said  :  "All the primary schools in Somolu will receive a face-lift from the Local Government as we did for the benches and chairs".

Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu promised the teachers and pupils of more goodies from the government. "The schools will receive more from the Local Government to support the pupils and their teachers", Dullar said.
